Choosing a Team

Every presidential candidate relies heavily on his top advisors to help him win a campaign. Each major party has many expert strategists and consultants to choose from.

Hint:   Try to match each applicant’s credentials to a specific job. For instance, an applicant with a journalism background is probably better suited to being a Press Secretary than a Finance Director.

  • Select members of your campaign staff by scanning headquarters and clicking on the chair. This displays the employees’ screen, which includes a list of six jobs you will need to fill.
  • Click on the top tab that says Applicants. This displays the applicants’ screen, which includes a list of possible candidates for various positions, their salary and their credentials.
  • Click Sort to group applicants by background, salary, math skills, verbal skills, leadership, ethics, or experience.
  • Click Hire to choose an applicant. This displays the jobs screen.
  • Choose the job you think this applicant should fill.
  • Click OK to proceed.
  • When you are not at headquarters, the personnel screens can be viewed by selecting the campaign team button after clicking the Scheduling tool.
